The stand of the Community of Madrid has gathered the main agents of the sector to present the only Spanish fair committed to sustainability, climate and nature.
The Nature, Climate and Sustainable Tourism Fair has presented the main lines of action within the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility.
The fair, organized by IFEMA from November 1 to 4, 2018, has presented the main lines of action within the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility, being the only fair in Spain that has a firm commitment to sustainability, climate and nature.
EXPOTURAL will have more than 10,000 square meters of exhibition areas related to rural tourism, nature and adventure, and a rich and varied national and international offer on mountain destinations around the world.
In this sense, the new project will gather a broad representation of mountain sports, natural areas, protected national parks, ornithological tourism, climbing as a new Olympic sport and adventure sports.
As major milestones of this edition stand out, on the one hand, the organization for the first time during a tradeshow of the final round of the Lead Climbing Spanish Cup. Organized by ENTRE-PRISES and ABÉO GROUP, the companies will build a large climbing wall that will be placed in the centre of the tradeshow, and that will represent Mount Everest.
On the other hand, the 1st Congress on Ornithological Tourism as well as the Madrid Conference on Sustainable Tourism and Climate Change will also be held during EXPOTURAL.
Active Tourism and Adventure Sports will also be issues addressed during these days, where companies dedicated to rafting, trekking, hiking and other activities concerning active tourism and nature will be involved. A final thematic axis will be the Rural Gastronomy, as a great differentiating element for Rural Tourism.
